Terms & Conditions

Registration & Deposit

A $500 deposit per person is required at the time of registration to secure a place on the pilgrimage. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the trip.

The $500 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Payments

The remaining balance of the pilgrimage may be paid by check or credit card.

All pilgrimages must be paid in full no later than two (2) months prior to the departure date. Failure to complete payment by the final due date may result in cancellation of the reservation, with loss of the deposit.


Cancellations & Refunds

If a participant cancels their pilgrimage after making payments:

  • All payments made will be refunded minus the $500 non-refundable deposit, provided the cancellation occurs before the final payment deadline.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the final payment due date.

Refunds, when applicable, will be issued using the original form of payment.


Additional Information

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected cancellations or interruptions.

  • Prices are subject to change until the deposit is received.

  • A minimum number of participants is required for each pilgrimage to take place.

By submitting a deposit, the participant acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.

Passports and Visas

PLEASE NOTE: A valid passport is required, and it must be valid at least 6 months after your return date (for some countries 3 months). It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to obtain, when necessary, the appropriate valid travel documents. All are advised to check with the appropriate government authority in each country visited to determine the necessary documents. At times, Hotel or Cruise Vessel May require to hold your passport. When, and if, a visa or visa waiver is required, it is your responsibility to obtain one. St.Margaret Of Scotland Pilgrimages, owner, agent, or employees cannot be held liable for clients not having proper passports, visa, visa waiver, or other travel documents. Cancellations due to a lack of appropriate documents will incur usual penalties. A Passport Card is not useful for International Air Travel. Attempting to use this instead of a Passport Book will result in a denial of boarding by the airlines and entry by the legal authorities.

*Please note that it is NOT possible to expedite online passport renewal.

While most countries do not require visas for American travelers, some may. You can find out what countries require a visa by using the U.S. State Department’s destination search tool:

Enter your country into the search bar. Then, on the country’s information page, you will find entry, exit, and visa requirements. You will also find travel advisories and a link to the country’s embassy.

Travel Package

Approximately three (3) weeks prior to departure, FedEx, UPS, or USPS will deliver a physical package to the address listed on your St.Margaret Of Scotland Pilgrimages   account containing the following:

  • Exclusive St.Margaret Of Scotland Pilgrimages Backpack
  • Name Tag & Lanyard
  • Luggage Tag
  • Tip Envelopes
